My father always swore that his father, my grandfather Samuel, was married 5 times and may have had another child before him. My father was the only KNOWN child but I would love to find this elusive fifth wife of his and that mysterious son or daughter supposedly had. Samuel spent his entire life in Maine but went to the Boston Conservatory of Music for 4 years in the early 1920s. It may have been there that he married and fathered a child while on tour playing the violin.
